Are you new to Upwork and looking to create an Upwork account? Setting up your Upwork account is simple. All you need to do is to fill in the needed details and then click on the next button till the setup is complete. However, if you are still skeptical about the Upwork signup process you should read this post till the end. It will help you create an Upwork account from start to finish.
First, you need to connect to the internet then go to your internet browser and type https://upwork.com in the address bar. You will see a screen with the exact image below.
1. Click on signup
2. You can choose to signup on Upwork using your Google account, Apple ID, or email. 
3. Fill in your details
Input your name, password, and country, and choose the option of ‘work as a freelancer.’
4. Once you submit your details, you will be sent an email to verify your email address. Proceed to your email and verify your details.
5. Next, you will be asked several questions, ensure that you fill in the right answers.
Ps: I advise that you choose all three options – the first one means you want to find jobs yourself, the second one means you can create Upwork projects that clients can pay for and the third one means you want Upwork to recommend you to clients.
On the next screen, you will be shown three options; ensure you choose to fill in your details manually on Upwork.
6. Enter your job title
For this section, you can enter any title. When your account is approved, you should research other talents on the platform, check out their titles and change yours accordingly. 7. Fill in your work experiences.
If you have worked offline for several years and you are new to the make money online world, add those work experiences there even though they are not related to the service you are offering. Add Relevant work experience (on other platforms or offline)
8. Add your education and certifications.
9. Include the languages you speak.
When adding the languages you speak, you will be asked about your proficiency. Do not claim to be Fluent when you’re not.
10. Include relevant skills.
This is very important because Upwork shows you jobs to bid on based on the skills you choose.

11. Write a good bio about yourself.
You can change this later on when your Upwork account is approved.

12. Choose an Upwork category based on the skill you offer.

13. Setup your Upwork hourly rate
This is how much you want to be paid per hour.
14. Fill in your personal details
Your country, state, and phone number, and upload your display photo.
15. Submit your Upwork profile for approval
Well done! You are set! You can now head on to optimize and edit your profile. Once you’ve optimized your profile, you can start bidding and land your first Upwork Job.
